lyrics
So cold outside,
I walk this road,
The crimson light
Instills terror
Grey dust above
Dead snow below
The sun dissolves
In deathly flow
I see the pain
The world that dies
The trees that bleed,
Collapsing skies
The Earth is burst
With thousand knives
The only way
To survive is run
Day becomes the night
I run to survive..
Lost, my soul will lie;
But still
The Legends never die
The wind calls me
I take its hand
Together we
Rush from the nightmare's lair
There's no return
From maze of lies -
The future's here
Enslaves our minds
We search for truth
We search for light
We blindly stray
Inside the night
No breeze to chill
No morning haze
No trees to green
Is it too late..
Day becomes the night
I run to survive..
Lost, my soul will lie;
But still
The Legends never die
My world is gone
My home is torn
I wish you'd be
Here once and for all
I can't deny
My wounds are still
Unhealed and nay,
Will never heal
I stand on edge
Look down below
It seems like hell’s
best choice of all
But still I breathe
I stand to fight
For someday I
Want to see light in your eyes
Day becomes the night
I run to survive..
Lost, my soul will lie;
But still
The Legends never die
I look down to see my land
This war is lost. Goodbye everything.

If someone were to ask me why I love progressive rock, this album would be one of my examples. It's eclectic; it's beautiful; it's sufficiently complex; and its cover art is cool. Soul Doubt does one hell of a great job of reprising the album's themes and building atmosphere and emotion throughout the >100 minute affair. And the cherry on top of it all is that there are no middling or superfluous songs--which is impressive because double albums usually have some amount of filler.
Magnifico!

Interesting at first, terrifying later, and absoultely beautiful overall. I'm so glad I found it. One hour of listening, and it stayed with me since then.. Keep up the awesome work Mark, I look forward to your further albums. cthsqd
